U
Uma Sharan
Requested enhancement: Introduce a new combo card option with:
8 analog extensions
4 analog trunks
10 VCM channels
Business impact / use case: Typical SME customer will Purchase Essential Edition
Use at least 2 IP endpoints (e.g., reception and manager) plus 2 additional IP phones for key users
Use analog extensions for remaining staff to keep costs low while still benefiting from Avaya reliability and features
This card would Better match current endpoint mix (IP + analog, almost no digital)
Reduce hardware waste and improve price–performance for small sites
Why this matters:
This enhancement comes directly from repeated field experience with SME customers in Oman and the wider region. It aligns with current buying patterns, protects Avaya’s competitive position in the small PBX space, and uses existing IP Office architecture (VCM and trunks) in a more commercially effective way for this segment.
