It would be useful if there was official a J100 Emulator. It can help to find a Problem if you are not on Site. There are Settings if you use a IP Office that you not can see in the Manager, System Status, Monitor or in the Webinterface of the Phone, if they are active. Like under Features Call Settings. I can't see in the System Status if internal Auto-Answer, Withold Number or Enbloc Dial is active. If there was a J100 Emulator it would save many headache and time.

This would also be useful in determining if a local extension is being call forwarded or not. I they are with a Call Queue, is overtakes ringing any other extension for the call and fires it off, regardless of ring setting set in the Call Queue. . .

I could see something like this having a multitude of uses - for example if making changes to the 46xxsettings.txt file being able to see and test the changes in near real time without having to upload the file to a file server, waiting on the phone to reboot, etc.
Another example would be for producing training documents and videos where you want the user to see how phone features work.
