358 - IX Messaging alarming enhancement

Customer has an HA IX Messaging system installed with a secondary consolidated server. We found the secondary Consolidated server had not synched with the primary consolidated server in over a year.
There is currently not an alarm or alert that would notify the customer the servers are out of synch and determining they are out of synch requires digging into the logs and SQL database, neither of which are something a typical customer can or should do.

I checked the Server Guide for v11 and i can't see a specific alarm for Primary<>secondary synchronisation indeed. However what i did see was that there are a whole list of SNMP alarms that will be sent when various services go down. Also it explained that setting up a UNC backup path was mandatory for a HA configuration. Therefore i'd suggest in the interim that you ensure these are both configured and. like with any backup system you check periodically that the backups are in place and valid.
