345 - Avaya Workplace - IP Office - Bridged Call Appearance Full Support
under review
Jonathan Finestone
Avaya Workplace (iPhone/Android/Mac/Windows) for IP Office should fully support Bridged Call Appearances. Including the ability to display multiple keys, support per-button-ring-control, place calls on hold, answer calls, place outgoing calls, show status of calls active/on hold from the users' physical phone and other softphones. It should work exactly as it does on a physical phone - and calls on hold/active on the softphone should be reflected accurately on other softphones and physical phones.

The IAUG volunteer team continues to discuss this with Avaya. They do note that full support for bridged call appearances is available in Workplace for the Aura platform, but it is still in the backlog for IP Office. The team is due to discuss with Avaya again in April, 2026.

The IAUG volunteer team is discussing this with Avaya, who notes there are other dependencies in play here. Regardless, it's a request they would like to deliver. We are due to follow up with them in September 2025.
