334 - ACO - Notifications for Voicemail Messages - email auto update

Notifications for Voicemail Messages - email auto update when new user email is assigned (User Detail email updated) or at least a pop-up window asking you to update. I would even settle for a check bock next to the email address box under User Details tab to update. Multiple time we have updated the User Details with new person's name and email and forget that the Notifications for Voicemail Messages (also fax, SMS, etc.) doesn't automatically update. Appreciate your time in reviewing. Thank you.

I agree, updating the email in the User Settings should auto-update the Email Notification section, but it would also be good to be able t modify that field if you want the email notification to go to a different email.

Tim, This happens in the basic settings. The field does update, however the notifications section in the advanced settings remains. I ran into this and turns out it was a procedural thing on our end. You should be using the disable and then reset and assign to a new user, which then reverts the profile to basic settings and allows for adjustments after that.

Justin Daly I could do this, but doesn't it make sense to have this be administrator friendly versus additional work and steps. Having the feature state would you like to update the advanced email address to as a pop-up would allow for faster changes in my opinion. Disable and reset and then reactivate seems like too many steps to change out or update a user.

Tim Eddinger, agreed. that would be handy.
