Within Avaya Workplace, it would be great to have a configuration option to allow administrators customize what is shown in the incoming call display. Depending on the version of Workplace, it will show VDN, VDN Number, Caller's Name or Caller's CLID.
Different contact centers depend on different fields for their work. For example, one of my contact centers really want the caller's name and number because they do lookups in multiple systems when talking to customers. Another really needs the VDN Name and Caller ID.
I would expect this to be configured via the 46xxsettings.txt (or AADS). Maybe allow two options to be set out of the three (or maybe any option available from the screen pop variables?)
