In the upcoming Aura release 10.1.3 the endpoint's SIP User Agent string will be searchable on System Manager via Advanced Search on SM \ System Status \ User Registrations

I agree this should be built in. We use the REST calls every hour to fetch registered endpoints and update a table of accounts with a "last seen" date.
