Need SMGR to report date, time, IP address and user agent string for the most recent login for any SIP handle or to report Present but never logged in or Not Present meaning the system has never seen the handle administered.

In the upcoming Aura release 10.1.3 the endpoint's SIP User Agent string will be searchable on System Manager via Advanced Search on SM \ System Status \ User Registrations

I agree this should be built in. We use the REST calls every hour to fetch registered endpoints and update a table of accounts with a "last seen" date.
