140 Route CPaaS SMS messages to Avaya Workplace

It would be great to be able to have a process that routes SMS/MMS messages received by the Avaya CPaaS system into the Workplace application.
This could either be mediated through a Breeze app, but would be interesting to see if this could be mediated through the Avaya Cloud directly.
It would be nice to have the app pop up a chat window for incoming SMS messages. And be able to respond to messages as well.
This would be a huge advantage for users and make the Avaya client that much more powerful and sticky for customers.

The IAUG volunteer team continues to speak with Avaya about this request, and they are working to deliver it. We are now hoping for 2025, and we are scheduled to check back with them in April 2025.

RC: Randy, our volunteer team is continuing to have discussions with Avaya about this. Obviously we did not see this GA in 2022. It is still on our radar though, and we will absolutely update this request when we have concrete information.
