This feature is added to Workplace for iOS as of release 3.24, scheduled for end of January 2022. The customer must apply SP2 to Avaya Messaging 11. Android and Windows should arrive in February, and Mac not long after that. -CP

This is in progress and in development now. We are adding the visual voice mail feature that we've had with CES on iOS/Android with a native connection to the Avaya Messaging solution. In addition, we plan to add support for Windows and Mac. Target for initial deployment is end of CY2021 with at least one platform with a goal to have more than one. The user experience will be like the existing mobile UX with visual voice mails presented in call history with the ability to play/call-back/delete and to filter to see calls, messages or both in the list.

iLink Pro V 10.7. If Workplace had more voicemail capabilities, that would do the job. Right now, it has the vmail Icon which basically calls into the voicemail, then the user has to go through touchtone prompts to do what they need. What we would like to see is something similar to the visual voicemail of Skype for Business.

Richard Pickens: OK, sounds like you're talking about a desktop, not a mobile client? Regardless, I think we get the gist of the request, and it makes sense. If Workplace - whether desktop, mobile, browser-based...whatever - is the flagship Avaya UC tool, build visual voice mail into the same tool. We'll discuss at our next meeting. Thank you!

Chip Powell: Hi Chip, that is right on point! Thank you sir.

Richard, which Messaging app are you referring to? Can you provide the specific product name and release before we put this to the IAUG team for consideration? Thanks!

Chip Powell: There is only one available for purchase now. Avaya messaging aka IX messaging

I'm generally in support of fewer apps (i.e. putting the functionality into one app).. This is the direction competitors have gone.

Sam Osheroff: I agree-to have the functionality in one app is a great benefit.
